Bernie
Sanders backer and rapper Cardi B stated she’d someday enjoy being a politician
and declared that ‘just a few of years of school’ might help her implement her
innovative concepts in Congress.
The
previous stripper turned rapper posted on Twitter saying that she “love[s]” the
idea of government even if she doesn’t agree with it.
Cardi
B, whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, previously complained that people
in America aren’t receiving enough value from their tax dollars and argued that
the government ought to have the ability to offer universal healthcare and free
college education.
Despite
her hate for high taxes, Cardi in 2018 endorsed Bernie Sanders’s campaign for
the Dem nomination. Sanders, a staunch socialist, long has advocated higher
taxes, especially on the rich, in order to fund major programs like healthcare
and education.
It
also is worth talking about her dislike for police officers — Cardi B, last
summer, said to the NY Police Department to ‘motherfucking suck a fart then
suffocate on it’ — and she has no love for supporters of Trump; Cardi was
invited to a Dem event in Iowa after calling supporters of Donald Trump “fucking
racist rednecks.”
But
Cardi is skeptical as to whether any Dem candidate is able to defeat Donald Trump
in this year’s election given the loyalty of Trump’s supporter base.
Almánzar,
last week, talked about her intention to file for citizenship in Nigeria after
Trump ordered an airstrike that killed Qasem Soleimani, and feared the United
States had become too dangerous. Cardi’s claim was welcomed by officials in Nigeria,
even though she has yet to give any updates on her application’s progress.
