Does Biden Have A Chance with Michelle Obama As His Running Mate?

The following post is an opinion of Budowsky, an aide to previous Senator Lloyd Bentsen and prior Rep. Bill Alexander, who served as chief deputy majority whip of the House of Reps:

‘If former VP Joe Biden is nominated by Dems to run for president in the year 2020, his perfect running mate as VP nominee would be Michelle Obama, former first lady, one of the most admired figures within the nation.

A Biden-Obama ticket would provide a compelling, inspirational, and powerful vision of America to a world and nation that is enduring the debilitating fatigue of a bitterly preternaturally deceitful and most divisive president who ever has been in the White House.

A historic Biden-Obama ticket, both of whom are widely trusted and liked by voters and almost universally known, could inspire and lead this nation. Budowsky sees an America that’s lifted up and brought together by leaders who are seeking simple justice, national unity, improved health care and more economic opportunities for all and not just a few. He sees a world in which democracy flourishes and leaders of America stand with a free world that is united by shared interests, common visions, unshakable alliances, and democratic values.

A Joe Biden and Michelle Obama ticket could champion an America which promotes big dreams and honors big truths. They’d build on the accomplishments of a highly regarded Dem president and provide a leadership of enlightened patriotism, as well as an appealing and powerful contrast to a president who treats most fellow Americans as enemies, treats most foreign dictators as friends, as well as treats American military assistance to allies underneath attack as weapons to blackmail or bribe them into fabricating dirt against his political opponents in America.’

Joe Biden Focusing on Transgender Equality

Joe Biden’s campaign issued a tweet on Twitter last Saturday that claimed that ‘transgender equality is the civil rights issue of this time.’

This statement comes as Joe strives to remain ahead of Sanders, who has a lengthy history of supporting legal rights, as well as status for the ones who state they’re transgender.

The statement implies that Biden, if he is elected president, would completely enforce the transgender ideology upon 325 million people in America, whether in the military, sports, healthcare, and K-12 schools.

This ideology states that individuals have the government-enforced right to be treated as female or male according to their “gender identity” sense.

However, Biden’s tweet additionally threatens to develop a new fissure within the Democrats’ ranks between the pro-transgender movement, as well as the small yet growing “gender critical” feminist movement.

The feminists argue that women’s rights can only exist if the government recognizes women’s physiology, biology, and sex, irrespective of any individual’s sense of female or male “gender.”

Many additional political priorities were labeled as ‘the civil rights issue of this time,’ which includes pro-life policies, transportation, and education.

America Finally Back on Track

At present, a Rasmussen poll of 2,500 likely voters reports that 45% think the U.S. is going in the right direction, whereas 51% report we’re going in the wrong direction.

The prior week, the right track figure stood at 40%, whereas the wrong track number stood at 55%.

At RCP (RealClearPolitics), they also track this figure in their poll of polls. Currently, the RealClearPolitics average is that 39% see us on the right track, whereas 54% report the wrong track. That is a 15-point spread.

There’s no question that under President Trump, more folks are satisfied with the current direction of America.

Thus far, he has managed foreign policy in such a way that has not just kept the U.S. out of foreign entanglements, he also has tamped down aggressors like Iran and North Korea. Plus, let us not forget how he kicked ISIS’ butt or how Trump solved an ancient border dispute between Turkey and Syria while the fake media were shouting about a coming World War III and Kurd holocaust.

And on top of that, America’s economy is soaring: jobs are now being created, real wages are currently up for the first time in years, energy costs are low, and Trump’s policies which have made the U.S. energy independent ensured no rise in pump prices when things go awry overseas — like this latest dust up with Iran. Truthfully, you can’t overestimate how this type of stability impacts voters’ peace of mind.

83% of Farmers Approve of Trump as President

According to a poll released recently, among America farmers, support for Trump is on the rise.

According to the most recent Farm Journal Pulse Poll, featuring reactions from 1,286 farmers, Trump obtained an approval rating of 83%, one point higher than the former poll. Only 18% disapprove of Trump. Since Farm Journal Pulse’s tracking of President Trump’s support from farmers, the most recent poll marks his greatest approval.

According to Jim Wiesemeyer, Pro Farmer policy analyst, the strongly approve category rose 3 percentage points from December’s figure and was Trump’s highest approval ratings ever.

Wiesemeyer adds that this says Trump’s approval is rock-solid. And with the latest positive news on USMCA and Phase 1 accord with China, his ratings will probably remain strong ahead.

In January, farmers who claimed they “strongly approve” of Trump soared to 64%, up from 61% at the completion of 2019. Only 19% state they “somewhat approve” of Trump’s performance, while only 3% stated they “somewhat disapprove.”

Wiesemeyer adds that the president needs the rural vote in order to keep the same states he won in the year 2016 within his win column come November. As a matter of fact, contacts report he’s concentrating on winning Minnesota this time around as a backstop if he loses a state that he won in 2016. This means agriculture will continually be a key subject in Trump’s re-election campaign.

In accordance with the most recent poll results, Trump additionally spoke at American Farm Bureau Federation’s convention in Austin, TX, in which he praised the many achievements of farmers in America.

Illegal, Cheap Workers Driving Down Wages in U.S.

Bernie Sanders admits illegal, cheaper workers drive wages down for America’s middle and working class yet continuously supports amnesty for illegals, decriminalization of the U.S.-Mexico border, and tossing out Trump’s “Buy American, Hire American” order.

The senator conducted an interview with the NY Times and attempted to explain his former statements in which he admitted that opening the United States border is detrimental to the nation-state, as well as slammed the idea of hemispheric open borders.

Sanders, in the interview, agrees that “of course” illegal workers who are hired by companies at “$5 per hour” “lowers wages” for the working class in America, who are frequently searching for entry-level jobs.

Sanders, later in the exchange, backs away from immigration’s wage-suppression effect on people in America and concentrates on a $15 min. wage — implying that illegals be legalized, as well as paid the same wage as citizens of America.

Legal immigration levels, in which over 1 million mainly low-skilled legal immigrants, as well as a multitude of foreign visa workers are allowed into the country annually, have driven the quantity of foreign-born workers within the United States to its highest level since the year 1996. That’s in addition to the multitude of illegals who come into the country each year.

The majority of U.S. immigrants immediately start to compete for white-collar and blue-collar jobs against millions of people in America who seek full-time employment.

Extensive studies by analyst Steven Camarota and economists such as George Borjas uncovers that America’s present mass legal immigration system burdens American taxpayers and its middle and working class while redistributing around $500B in wealth each year to newly arrived immigrants and major employers. Similarly, studies have uncovered how Americans’ wages get crushed by the U.S.’ high levels of immigration.

Cardi B Considers Career in Politics

Bernie Sanders backer and rapper Cardi B stated she’d someday enjoy being a politician and declared that ‘just a few of years of school’ might help her implement her innovative concepts in Congress.

The previous stripper turned rapper posted on Twitter saying that she “love[s]” the idea of government even if she doesn’t agree with it.

Cardi B, whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, previously complained that people in America aren’t receiving enough value from their tax dollars and argued that the government ought to have the ability to offer universal healthcare and free college education.

Despite her hate for high taxes, Cardi in 2018 endorsed Bernie Sanders’s campaign for the Dem nomination. Sanders, a staunch socialist, long has advocated higher taxes, especially on the rich, in order to fund major programs like healthcare and education.

It also is worth talking about her dislike for police officers — Cardi B, last summer, said to the NY Police Department to ‘motherfucking suck a fart then suffocate on it’ — and she has no love for supporters of Trump; Cardi was invited to a Dem event in Iowa after calling supporters of Donald Trump “fucking racist rednecks.”

But Cardi is skeptical as to whether any Dem candidate is able to defeat Donald Trump in this year’s election given the loyalty of Trump’s supporter base.

Almánzar, last week, talked about her intention to file for citizenship in Nigeria after Trump ordered an airstrike that killed Qasem Soleimani, and feared the United States had become too dangerous. Cardi’s claim was welcomed by officials in Nigeria, even though she has yet to give any updates on her application’s progress.

Over 200,000 Jobs Added in the Month of December

According to an estimate from ADP & Moody’s Analytics, in December, the United States private sector added around 202,000 positions.

It outpaced the 150,000 new hire estimates by economists. Additionally, ADP revised its November estimate significantly greater, from 67,000 to about 160,000.

According to the report, the labor market ended in the year 2019 in a stance of increasing strength. On Friday, the Labor Department is set to launch its report on the job situation. Economists foresee an increase of 160,000 public and private sector jobs.

Mid-sized businesses, the ones that have from 50 to 499 workers, led the way in job expansion, and added 88,000 jobs. According to ADP/Moody, bigger businesses added 69,000 and smaller companies added 45,000.

Despite the high quantity of new positions for December, Mark Zandi, Moody’s Analytics chief economist, stated that job gains ‘continuously moderate.’

Zandi added that small companies, energy producers, and manufacturers have been shedding jobs. Currently, unemployment is low, yet will start to increase if job expansion slows much further.

According to ADP Research Institute’s vice president and co-head, Ahu Tildirmaz, as 2019 came to an end, we witnessed expanded payrolls for December. Since April, the service providers posted the biggest gain, mainly driven by business and professional services. Across companies of all sizes, job creation was strong, predominantly led by medium sized companies.

Birth Rate in U.S. Continuously Drops in 42 States

Births in 42 states, including Washington, DC, have kept declining from 2018 to 2019, according to the most recent U.S. Census Bureau information. Only 8 states —Vermont, Utah, Washington, Nevada, Montana, Idaho, Colorado, and Arizona — witnessed their birth rates rise from 2018 to 2019.

As the news has chronicled, the United States birth rate, in general, has dipped for the 4th consecutive year. In the year 2018, less than 3 million babies were born within the United States— a decline of 2%, or nearly 64,000 births, since the year 2017.

The overall fertility rate, standing at 1,729.5 births/ 1,000 women, stays below replacement level — the quantity of births had to at least replace one generation of American people. Each year, there has to be a minimum of 2,100 births/1,000 women to be considered above or at replacement level.

According to the CDC, the birth rate, since 1971, has stood at below replacement level. Birth rates around all major racial groups — Hispanics, non-Hispanic whites, non-Hispanic Asians, and non-Hispanic blacks — were once again below replacement level for the year 2018.

Despite a reduction in birth rate that is below replacement level, Democrat and Republican lawmakers have yet to establish a national agenda that increases American births, family and fertility rates.

On the flip side, Viktor Orbán, the Prime Minister of Hungary, implemented a pro-family agenda that increases Hungary’s birth rate among similar swift decline, according to news sources. As part of this agenda, Hungary’s government offers a loan of $33,000 to qualified couples in Hungary after they marry. This loan is completely forgiven by the government as long as the couple bears 3 children.

Welcome to 2020!

2020 starts with amazing possibility for Trump supporters — as well as for America’s renaissance.

Our economy is roaring. The U.S. will sign trade deals with our partners in North America and China; one other deal with a post-Brexit GB is likely.

Our world is a safer place. Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, ISIS leader, is dead. “Christmas gift” threatened by NK never materialized. Iran is utilizing its proxies to attack America in Iraq — however, the regime is now faced with new protests.

Health insurance costs at home have stabilized, the cost of prescription drugs is decreasing, and there’s hope for curing diseases such as HIV/AIDS. Now, fuel is still cheap, and breakthroughs are occurring in nuclear energy.

Arguably, the Constitution has been saved by the president’s judicial appointments. Trump restocked the federal judiciary with qualified constitutional conservatives, which includes 1/4 of the whole appellate bench.

In the meantime, democrats are having trouble sustaining the concept that the U.S. needs a radical change, and to convince America of the farcical concept that the president is an imminent threat to the welfare and security of our country.

They’ve offered the weakest field of contenders in decades and backed themselves into a corner with a presidential impeachment that can’t result in President Trump’s removal.

The president’s November victory is far from certain. Trump still has almost the whole media against him — and, even worse, the technology big boys controlling search engines and social networks.

Dems might recruit a political savior — former First Lady Michelle Obama, perhaps? — if they don’t nominate a presidential candidate on the 1st ballot at their Milwaukee convention in July.

Plus, there’s always the risk of an unexpected national security or economic disaster.

But Trump is in a better position on Jan 1st, 2020 than he was one year before.

The Dems, who took over the House, squandered the chance as the left-wing “Squad” took over the agenda using radical schemes such as “Medicare for All,” and the “Green New Deal.” They wasted time on impeachment and never will recover.

The president trailed the majority of his rivals for most of the year; fresh polls depict Trump beating them all.

The senate’s impeachment trial will probably end badly for the Dems, who’ve scared the public into thinking that the opposition won’t be satisfied with the White House alone, that it still has dreams of “fundamentally transforming the U.S.,” religiously, culturally and politically.

Republicans, meanwhile, may rally behind the American way, the Constitution, and the flag.

The outcome still isn’t known, yet the fight is one we should relish.
