There
still is time left to make the stage, yet thus far ten candidates seem to be
set for Georgia’s face off.
The
bar to be eligible for November’s debate, established by the DNC, is the
highest yet.
About
10 candidates thus far seem to be eligible for the following November debate,
hosted by The Washington Post and MSNBC in Georgia.
Presidential
candidates still have some time to be eligible before the November 20th
faceoff, yet the ones expected to qualify include:
· Tulsi Gabbard
· Tom Steyer
· Andrew Yang
· Cory Booker
· Pete Buttigieg
· Amy Klobuchar
· Kamala Harris
· Bernie Sanders
· Elizabeth Warren
· Joe Biden
That
only leaves one active presidential candidate who was on stage during the debate
in October, yet who’s at risk of not getting welcomed back next month: previous
Housing Sec. Julián Castro.
The
bar to be eligible for the debate in November, set by the DNC, is the highest
yet.
Candidates
must show strength in grassroots fundraising, as well as within the polls,
which they may either do by reaching 3% in 4 state or national polls, or by reaching
5% in 2 polls of the early states: South Carolina, Nevada, New Hampshire, and
Iowa.
The
number isn’t official until the Democratic National Committee certifies the
field, and donor totals are based upon candidates' public, self-reporting.
